The incidences of mental illnesses are on the rise and this indicates why psychiatric nursing is important in healthcare delivery. According to Dickens et al. (2019), the commonly diagnosed mental illnesses include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and psychosis. The nurses must adequately be prepared to handle different patients with mental illnesses and give them comprehensive care. There are concerns about the transition of care among patients with mental illnesses. Seamless transition and continuum of care are important for patients with mental illnesses as it results in better outcomes (Tuomainen et al., 2018). Proper coordination must be made between the psychiatric nurses and other healthcare providers to ensure that all the patient needs are addressed (Sather et al., 2018).

Using credible sources in research increases the authenticity of the research findings in evidence-based practice. In this case, the search was made through the SAGE journal which is among the credible sources of information. On the other hand, while searching, many sources are likely to emerge from the database and so it is the responsibility of the researcher to filter them out and come up with the most relevant ones. Filtering the sources can be challenging and so one must emphasize the key terms to be used in the research. In this case, the key term was childhood obesity and so only articles featuring the key term would be selected. Therefore, the obtained sources would be evaluated based on whether they are peer-reviewed or not.

The database is useful and I will recommend it to a friend because the source published in the database are credible and reliable. Before a source is published in the database, its content must be reviewed to ensure it provides enough and valid evidence.

You must proofread your paper. But do not strictly rely on your computer’s spell-checker and grammar-checker; failure to do so indicates a lack of effort on your part and you can expect your grade to suffer accordingly. Papers with numerous misspelled words and grammatical mistakes will be penalized. Read over your paper – in silence and then aloud – before handing it in and make corrections as necessary. Often it is advantageous to have a friend proofread your paper for obvious errors. Handwritten corrections are preferable to uncorrected mistakes.
Use a standard 10 to 12 point (10 to 12 characters per inch) typeface. Smaller or compressed type and papers with small margins or single-spacing are hard to read. It is better to let your essay run over the recommended number of pages than to try to compress it into fewer pages.
